Description

The Contract Manager for the KC30A provides key commercial and contractual leadership in support of the Program Manager, ensuring effective management and oversight of all Program Contract requirements and the delivery of Sustainment / Through Life Support services to the Commonwealth of Australia.
As a senior member of the Program Leadership Team, the Contract Manager plays a critical role in driving compliant, value-for-money outcomes across the Program.

Key Responsibilities

 Provide sound, risk-balanced commercial and contractual advice to support Program outcomes Propose, negotiate and respond to Contract Change Proposals, including contract draftingPrepare and deliver S&Qs in consultation with relevant functional teamsPrepare, submit and manage all contractual deliverables and notificationsSupport and contribute to contract reviews (e.g. Award Term Reviews, Periodic Cost Reviews)Oversee delivery of TLS services to ensure scope remains within contracted limitsLead and support the resolution of contractual issues, disputes, claims and performance relief where applicable

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
 

 Degree or Diploma in Business, Contract Law, or equivalent relevant experienceDemonstrated experience in contract management using ASDEFCON templatesProven capability in drafting S&Qs and Contract Change ProposalsStrong commercial acumen with the ability to identify, assess and manage contractual riskHighly developed negotiation skills with a focus on win-win outcomesStrong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience operating as a leader within complex Programs and senior leadership environments

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy police checks and employment screening verification
