Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance, and optimizing our contractual relationships.
Develop, negotiate, and manage complex contracts throughout their lifecycleEnsure full compliance with contract terms, company standards, and local regulationsLead contract negotiations and support the development of procurement strategiesReview and analyze contract terms, conditions, and risksOversee contractor and consultant performance against established KPIsManage the review and processing of change orders, claims, and disputesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract objectives are metDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholdersImplement and maintain contract management systems and processesProvide regular reports on contract performance and financial implicationsStay updated on local and international contract laws and best practicesQualificationsPostgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related fieldMinimum of 12 years of extensive experience in contract management, preferably in infrastructure or construction projectsStrong knowledge of contract law and commercial practicesProven track record in performance monitoring, claims management, and commercial reportingProficiency in contract management software and MS Office suiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution abilitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentKnowledge of Qatar's business practices and regulations (preferred)Professional certification in contract management (e.g., CCCM, CCMA) is a plusAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
