Contract Analyst

Work Environment

The role requires onsite work for 5 days a week during the training period, which lasts 1-2 weeks or until the necessary skills are grasped. After training, the role becomes hybrid with work from home on Mondays and Fridays, and onsite presence from Tuesday to Thursday.

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 5 pm. The initial contract is for 6 months with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment. The work environment includes an open cubicle setting with individual workspaces.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will create and manage customer agreements for complex key accounts, working cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams. You will also develop, implement, and maintain key contracts, ensuring compliance and accurate pricing.

Responsibilities

Create and manage customer agreements for complex key accounts.Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams on contract development, administration, compliance, and reporting.Develop, implement, administer, and maintain key contracts, including eligibility and pricing.Coordinate assigned account contracts, amendments, new product offers, and contract maintenance.Manage pricing relationships between various GPO contracts.Collaborate with Sales and National Accounts team to support contract strategies.Redline customer agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Lead RFI, RFP, and bid submissions.Generate and enhance monthly customer and sales reports.Conduct analysis to calculate customer rebates and penalties.Manage and resolve customer pricing disputes.Prepare and distribute ad hoc sales and management reports.Develop and maintain content for Contracts and Pricing Team Training Library and SOPs.Facilitate and support process improvements in Contract Marketing.

Essential Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and pivot tables.3+ years of experience as a Contracts Analyst.Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.Strong competency in Excel, including spreadsheets, filters, and formulas.Experience in contract administration and document processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus.Knowledge of hospital/pharmacy products and pharmaceutical industry contractual terms is preferred.Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Critical thinking and problem resolution skills.Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP), CLM, CRM, Qlik, and other database concepts is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
