We are seeking a skilled Contract Analyst responsible for managing contracts within the rebar and services group. You will be tasked with negotiating, reviewing, redlining, and approving contracts up to $1 million, with responsibilities designated by region. Your primary role will be to reduce contractual risk and protect company assets by ensuring fair and reasonable contract terms.
ResponsibilitiesReview and negotiate terms and conditions directly with customers from initial discussions through finalizing contracts.Discuss terms and conditions with the Business during all phases of negotiations and resolve any issues with customers.Collaborate directly with the Legal Department as needed.Obtain direction or exception approval from the Business on unresolved concerns.Verify credit approval on jobs exceeding $100,000.Sign contracts up to $1,000,000 and return signed contracts to customers.Update SalesForce for processed contracts, insurance, bonds, COI’s, etc.Order payment and performance bonds and supply bonds as required by contracts.Order insurance certificates in accordance with contractual requirements.Review insurance certificates prior to annual renewal for the Risk Department.Review bonds semi-annually to determine completed jobs.Collaborate with key stakeholders and establish and maintain relationships with internal teams.
Essential SkillsThree years of contract review experience including two years of contract negotiation experience.Experience in analysis and review of construction-related contracts.Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions and risk minimization/avoidance.Understanding of insurance requirements and bonds.Experience working within the manufacturing and construction industry.Collaboration with Sales teams on contracting activities.
Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree is preferred.Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, and Microsoft Office for redlining and review.5+ years of experience required.Strong skills in in-depth analysis, decision making, written and oral communication, organization, multitasking, and customer service.
Work Environment
The role is based at the headquarters in Irving, TX, reporting up through the VP or AR/Credit team. The position is closely tied with the credit collections group. The team consists of three analysts and one supervisor. The work environment is collaborative, requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.
