Contract Accountant (AP Focus)

We’re looking for a detail‑driven Contract Accountant to support Accounts Payable operations, cleanup vendor data, strengthen controls, and build simple reporting tools for team visibility.

Key ResponsibilitiesCreate a daily/weekly report showing invoice volume and averages by person and team.Identify lost cash discounts and flag items with incorrect payment terms.Clean up the vendor master, including running TIN Match to verify Tax IDs and highlight mismatches.Perform fraud‑prevention checks by comparing vendor vs. employee addresses and Tax ID vs. SSN.Build a Statement Reconciliation Master for teamwide tracking.Research returned checks to identify mismatched or outdated vendor information.Qualifications3–5+ years in Accounting/AP.Strong Excel/Sheets skills (pivots, lookups, audit tools).Experience with vendor master data, TIN Matching, or AP controls.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics, etc.).High attention to detail and strong documentation habits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.66 - $40.87/hr.
