Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to join their team. As a Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a self-starter attitude, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Continuous Improvement Manager 3
**Location:** Accomac, VA
**Pay Range:** $115,000 - $130,000
**What's the Job?**
+ Drive measurable results through facilitation and leadership of the Continuous Improvement Model.
+ Utilize Lean and Six Sigma techniques to lead data-based decision making and generate measurable improvements.
+ Manage site improvement projects and deliver effective Continuous Improvement training courses.
+ Facilitate Kaizen and 90-Day Improvement events to build and lead empowered teams.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for Continuous Improvement methodology and tools.
**What's Needed?**
+ 7+ years of continuous improvement and operational excellence experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ BS degree or equivalent related work experience; degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of Lean principles, Problem Solving Tools, and Six Sigma.
+ Ability to effectively manage and coach teams at all organizational levels.
+ Proficiency in O365 Tools (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
