Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Description:

Join us as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer for the M&M’s production line and play a vital role in driving operational excellence across multiple shifts in this key production area. You’ll be a crucial part of the FMOS/RT implementation team, managing manufacturing systems, improving line event data integrity, and reducing downtime. Partnering closely with Production Leaders, you’ll lead a team of Continuous Improvement Specialists (CIS) to establish work standards, coach associates, and lead initiatives that boost efficiency and reliability. What are we looking for?

Minimum:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply, or a technical field of studyExperience in a manufacturing environmentProject management experience or leading continuous improvement initiativesHighly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projectsData-driven mindset with proficiency in analyzing and leveraging operational dataStrong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of driving resultsDemonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to manage up to stakeholdersClear ability to relate to Associates across all levels of the organizationFluent in English

Preferred:

2+ years of experience in food manufacturing2+ years of people leadership experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

Drives loss elimination for the assigned area to include Line Loss Analysis and development of 90-day action plans to address losses and build associate capabilityLeads triad (CI, Maintenance and Production Lead) for preventative follow-up on all value stream technical breakdowns and escalates for support/action through the Maintenance Team Leaders or Reliability Engineers as requiredOwns and maintains all MSE standards (FI, FMOS, AM) for value streamOwns ideation and execution of improvement projects to deliver annual value leadership target for value streamSupports Commission, Validation, and Startup (CVS) activities for capital projectsChampions TPM (MSE) AM deployment and all Safety and Quality standards and objectives for their areaLM1 for Continuous Improvement Specialists, including development and performance evaluation

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 79,280.00 - USD 109,010.00
