Continuing Education Specialist (1 Year Contract)

Job Description

What is the opportunity?
Join RBC Insurance dynamic Education team as a Specialist for a 1-year contract to support our licensed employees and brokers with their continuing education credits. This role involves supporting our Continuing Education (CE) processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing high-quality customer service for education-related inquiries.


What will you do?

Monitor the education mailbox.Issue CE certificates to licensed employees and third-party brokerages across Canada, adhering to SLAs and regulatory standards. And re-issue CE certificate as requested or in case of an audit.Ensure accurate CE data entry and maintain records in good standing.Respond to CE credit inquiries and investigate as required.Provide support to the licensing team and sales consultants regarding CE credit requirements.Assist the learning & delivery team with the OTL exam registrations for new H&A cohorts and any request for OTL licensing kit. And maintain and update the master list.Maintain organized files for attendance reports, participation lists, and CE request.Ensure compliance with CE credit guidelines.Reduce errors through self-audits and diligent work practices.Provide professional customer service via phone, Webex, email, and other communication channels.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:

Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.Proficient Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office applications.Ability to manage multiple work streams, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.Strong time management and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to multitask in a demanding environment.Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.Office location: 6880 Financial Drive, Mississauga, Ontario.

Nice-to-have:

1–2 years of experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge of insurance licenses and certifications.College degree.LLQP & OTLBilingual proficiency in English and French.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$46,000.00 - $70,000.00
