Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and material handling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Independence, OR

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 1st shift, 5am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

Perform safety checks of forklifts to ensure safe operation Move, locate, and stack merchandise around the facility using heavy equipment Check fluid levels such as oil, water, and fuel before operating equipment Assist in inventory management by placing palletized goods in proper storage locations Participate in plant cleanliness by restocking, trash removal, and equipment washing

What's Needed?

Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to climb on and off equipment and work in various weather conditions Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
