Content Writer and Strategist Associate

This team is responsible for the creation, implementation, and evaluation of content strategies for clients across the Commercial & Investment Bank lines of business. The ideal candidate will produce a steady stream of high-impact content on a broad range of topics, including economic analysis, market trends, client deals, and sustainability themes.

As a Content Writer and Strategist Associate within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be responsible for writing and editing thought leadership pieces for our business lines. You will join a group of writers, content strategists, video and audio producers to deliver integrated marketing campaigns across our web, social, email, video, and podcast channels. In this role, you will also work closely with client marketing leads, subject matter experts, and senior executives across our business to develop strategic content plans to expand the global brand footprint.

Job responsibilities:

Support stakeholders in defining a strategic agenda of content topics that align with business goals and objectives."Assist in reducing dense research reports and white papers into digital-friendly formats.Write, edit, and publish multiple formats from long to short form in a deadline-driven environment.Experience with digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analyticsHelp analyze and interpret content marketing metrics (e.g., time spent on page, unique visitors) to optimize existing content or drive insights for future projects.Manage the content approval process with business stakeholders, Legal and Compliance, Creative teams, etc.Pitch and produce various content types, including short and long-form articles and related email and social media posts, with the target audience in mind.Contribute to content idea generation for editorial calendar flow.Help manage version control and effectively monitor content quality in production.Stay up to date on financial news and global affairs and perform research on various topics to write timely, relevant articles.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

3+ years of experience editing, proofreading, and writing articles.Digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics.Demonstrated ability to work with visual designers, developers, and videographers.Understanding of tone and voice and the ability to adapt them for various digital channels, including social media, web, and email, as well as traditional channelsExpertise in converting content to infographics and digital interactive content.Comfort working under tight deadlines.Ability to work on multiple high-priority pieces simultaneously.Superior writing skills in English.Flawless accuracy in grammar and information.Meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with content management tools.Experience conducting keyword research using SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, Google Keyword Planner).Experience with content management systems and analytics dashboards.Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines simultaneously and flexibility to prioritize and reprioritize projects based on evolving business needs.Experience writing for a B2B audience.BA in journalism, communications, or a related field.
