Job Title: Content Social Media Creator Job Description We are seeking a creative and community-driven Social Media & Community Manager to lead our brand’s presence across social platforms. This role is ideal for someone who excels in storytelling through short-form videos, enjoys engaging with audiences, and desires to be the face of a growing lifestyle brand. You will manage content creation, drive engagement, and build authentic relationships with our community, essentially becoming the social media influencer and face of the company. Responsibilities + Create and manage engaging content across various social media platforms. + Drive community engagement and build authentic relationships with followers. + Develop and execute interactive campaigns such as giveaways and challenges. + Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, and mentions in a professional manner. + Stay current with social media trends and platform updates, adapting content accordingly. + Collaborate with influencers and brands to produce co-branded content. + Track and analyze KPIs such as engagement rate, reach, and follower growth to optimize content strategy. + Manage content calendars, deadlines, and coordinate with internal teams in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills + Expertise in social media marketing, content creation, and storytelling. + Proficiency in short-form video production for platforms like TikTok and Reels. + Comfortable on-camera presence and strong visual storytelling skills. + Basic photo and video editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, and Adobe. + Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook algorithms and best practices. + Experience with scheduling tools like Later, Planoly, and Hootsuite. + Excellent written communication and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2–4+ years of experience in social media or community management. + Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content. + Experience with DTC, lifestyle, or consumer product brands is a bonus. + Authentic, approachable, and a team player. Work Environment This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Oxnard, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
