In Data, we’re responsible for delivering this data, news, and analytics through innovative technology - quickly and accurately. The Content Acquisition department is responsible for managing, acquiring and integrating content and data from Exchanges, Brokers, Sell-side and other types of providers to drive the value of the Bloomberg Terminal and downstream products.

What's the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Exchanges & Venues (EV) team as a Content Relationship Manager for the EMEA region. We are the experts in Bloomberg's exchange data offering and work closely with exchanges and internal business stakeholders in order to define and develop our exchange data strategy to drive commercial results, as well as technical and operational excellence. We build relationships, both internally and externally, which help us discover new opportunities for Bloomberg’s wide range of products.
You are an experienced market professional with a comprehensive understanding of all asset classes, market structure and relevant regulatory frameworks. You build relationships quickly and effortlessly and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You are a natural problem solver and would enjoy the opportunity to make a real impact on our business.

We'll trust you to:

Build and manage strategic relationships with exchanges, regulators and clientsExert influence to help shape contractual negotiations with exchangesLeverage your understanding of the market data landscape to identify and pursue new engagement opportunities between the exchanges, regulators and Bloomberg to enhance our product offeringAssess risk and rewards for multiple business units and manage expectations with stakeholdersBuild trusted and collaborative relationships with key partners across Bloomberg - including Enterprise, Sales, Product and Legal - to achieve mutually beneficial resultsAnalyse and leverage business intelligence to inform your decision makingUse your broad industry knowledge and network to act as an escalation point and face off to key stakeholders and C-Suite at the exchangesOccasional travel is required

You'll need to have:

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field5+ years experience* working at an exchange or in the market data industryExperience dealing with senior business executivesStrong relationship management and negotiation skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven experience managing initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesExcellent communication, presentation & organisational skillsA proven understanding of the ever-changing models of exchanges and vendors, as well as the technical landscape in which they operateA strong grasp of the commercial landscape in which Bloomberg operates and the ways in which our clients consume dataFamiliarity with market data licensing/redistribution policies and relevant regulation is preferred
