The Content Management Analyst identifies, researches, analyzes and summarizes new and updated legal- or compliance-related statutory and regulatory requirements for inclusion in Wolters Kluwer insurance products. The Content Management Analyst effectively translates complex regulations into product solutions by authoring legal/compliance content, creating product content design requirements, writing business rules and summaries, and educating internal and external customers on legal/compliance requirements and their implications. The Content Management Analyst should have knowledge of both the legislative process and the insurance industry, as well as the ability to analyze complex legal topics and summarize them in plain English.
General duties and responsabilities:
Analyze and summarize incoming legislative and regulatory material
Write summaries of regulatory/statutory content (updating existing content and creating new content) and update WK products and product documentation
Track, review and analyze general regulatory/statutory changes and customer requests, and determine impact to WK product content
Demonstrate general knowledge relevant to Wolters Kluwer insurance products including legal and compliance knowledge and industry best practices, and apply this knowledge for continuous improvement of WK products in the areas of content quality, product enhancements and operational efficiencies
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
Provide training to help other employees acquire and apply compliance knowledge
Author or draft customer communications (e.g., release notes, alerts, etc.)
Respond to compliance and product related inquiries from internal and external customers with priority and excellence
Develop and maintain general compliance knowledge and stay abreast of regulatory changes through self-study, continuing education classes
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or project lead

Provide quality work product, on-time (within project scope, schedule and budget) and without defects. Immediately report any impediments that put a deadline at risk
Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with Wolters Kluwer departments
Demonstrate an ability to manage administrative requirements, and adhere to CCOE deadlines

Additional skills:
Working knowledge of operational compliance related issues for insurance companies in one or more of the following areas: claims, product filing, policy/contract provisions, market conduct, cancellation & nonrenewal, risks and controls (preferred, not required)
Insurance industry professional designations and/or legal background desirable (preferred, not required)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
Preferred: Legal education/JD or industry professional certification(s)
Preferred: experience with written summarization of legal content and/or content production experience in compliance/regulatory issues
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience in insurance industry, banking, securities, or financial services
Relevant business acumen or business-to-business experience desired
