Content Management Analyst
Responsibilities include creating worksheets, calculations, and links on income tax forms, reading and translating tax form instructions, and researching and implementing product enhancements. A Forms Programmer is responsible for the skilled implementing of a primary technology across one or more product lines. The position requires a thorough understanding of a primary technologies and standards, and use of the technology and experience to appropriately solve problems and develop application solutions. In addition, the Forms Programmer is involved in developing new technologies and exhibiting a desire to determine the best ways these new technologies will benefit the business unit

Essential Duties and responsibilities
Learns full line of ATX, TaxWise, and IntelliForms products including features, benefits, and intended useIdentifies and composes formulas to new and existing forms using instructions found on forms, tax agency instructions and tax professional advicePrimarily involved in the development of new models and the use of new technologiesDocuments applications, technologies and proceduresDesigns reusable modelsCodes tax forms with low error rateAnalyzes and implements solutions to errors reported from customersStrong ability to write optimized codePerforms unit testing to ensure viability of development assignmentsEnsures that assigned forms activities are completed within established time framesWorks with team to meet overall goalsLearns from constructive feedback from mentors, supervisors and managersDevelops an awareness to identify form issues that need to be escalatedLeads small team projectsUnderstanding of opportunity costsProactively communicates form issues that need to be escalatedDevelops curriculum for and leads trainingsParticipates in meetingJob Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math or related area required or equivalent combination of education and expertise in software developmentExperience:
Working knowledge of and experience with software development processes and proceduresExperience working in a team environmentExperience managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentTax preparation experience a plusOther Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
High level Excel and Windows skillsTechnical prowess in at least one of the following: C++, Visual Basic, .NET, SQL, AccessStrong math, logic and problem solving skillsGood communication skillsSelf-directed and highly motivatedAbility to work in fast-paced environment with many deadlinesGood decision making skillsAbility to quickly assimilate new informationCan work independently and as a team playerAbility to work an extended schedule as required to meet objectivesTravel requirements

Compensation:
39,500.00 - 67,450.00 USD
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
