About the role
We are looking for a Content Editor who would work with authors and Polish legal texts an intellectual challenge and a confirmation of the organizational skills necessary for planning and supervising the editorial process. We are looking for a reliable, conscientious person who will take full responsibility for the entrusted publications.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the proper execution of the editorial process for assigned legal publications, from receiving the author’s manuscript from the supervisor to delivering the final PDF
Cooperation with external editorial partners
Establish the project schedule for the book/e-book and supervise its implementation
Prepare the cover in cooperation with the graphic designer and marketing materials in cooperation with the publisher
Settle and report editorial costs incurred during the editorial process
Requirements:
a degree in law, administration or Polish philology
excellent knowledge of the rules of correct language use
excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
knowledge of English
a good writing style and the ability to write and formulate thoughts clearly
sense of responsibility, conscientiousness, strong personal culture, attention to detail, perceptiveness, ability to organize one’s work, timeliness, communication skills, ability to work in a team
experience in publishing/editing (nice to have)
