What is the Opportunity?
We’re seeking a Content Designer to join our Product Design team. The successful candidate will directly impact how clients interact with RBC Clear™, helping to shape the digital experience for a critical business function. We’re passionate about creating strategies for design that shape a meaningful exchange between RBC Clear, RBC’s next-generation Cash Management platform, and its clients through the digital products we create. By collaborating with design and product team members, the content designer will have the opportunity to drive business advantages and digital innovation.
What will you do?
Work alongside designers and product managers to craft content that helps clients navigate complex cash management workflows with confidenceUse expertise to ensure content aligns with user experience principles and business objectivesDevelop solutions to complex problems by collaborating with and presenting ideas to cross-functional teams that differentiate solutions in the marketMake recommendations about defined problems that impact project outcomesSupport decision-making with data-informed rationale, for problems that impact project and business outcomesUse the principles of Content Design to guide and inform clients, providing them with the information and understanding they needMaintain relationships with Legal, Compliance, and Risk stakeholders to integrate governance requirements into content while maintaining client empathy and focusFollow established Style Guide standards to maintain consistency, while identifying opportunities to evolve and align the languageEnsure all content meets the requirements of accessibility and inclusive designWhat do you need to succeed?
Required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field1+ years of experience writing for digital platformsPortfolio or writing samplesStrong verbal and copywriting skillsStrong organizational skillsTechnical understanding of Content Design practice theory and toolsWorking knowledge of Content Design methodologiesExperience communicating complex ideas in a format that makes them easy to understandAbility to clearly articulate design decisions to all project members and stakeholdersUnderstanding of the user needs and successful outcomesAbility to operate in a fluid, rapidly changing environmentAbility to thrive in collaborative, cross-functional environmentsNice to have
Working knowledge of financial and business domain practicesExperience with Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Office suiteExperience with design, communication and collaboration tools, including Figma and MuralExperience in technical or functional writingWhat’s in it for you?

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
