Title: Consultant - Corporate Tax

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in corporate tax, transfer tax.
Roles and responsibilities:
Broad Roles and Responsibilities handled:
1) Preparing and filing of India annual tax forms like foreign tax credit form, claiming tax deduction form, Filing CBC notification, filing of PE tax return (Canada, US). Etc
2) Clarifying WHT queries from shared services team, handling monthly TCS compliance, quarter TCS return filing compliance.
3) India entity tax accounting. Preparing India BS schedule, preparing and maintaining tax roll forward, posting tax entries like TCS, advance tax payments, Tax provision entries in books
4) Assisting and collating necessary information for statutory audit. Including preparation of tax provisioning, tax rollforward, ETR reconciliation etc.
5) Preparing, collating necessary information of annual Transfer pricing report of India, review of monthly transfer pricing workings of India. Preparing TP segmentation for concluding transfer pricing study report of India. Filing of annual TP form 3CEB in discussion with tax consultants. Reviewing Intercompany and non-intercompany segmentation on periodical basis
6) Collating necessary information for corporate tax audit, transfer pricing tax assessment. Liasing with tax consultants for timely submission / response
7) Collating necessary information required for past year’s tax assessment / litigation at various levels of tax courts for various assessment years.
8) Handling India tax budget (accruals, forecast etc), liasing with necessary stakeholders for completing engagement formalities.
9) Reviewing TDS workings, assisting quarterly TDS return filing.
10) Reviewing India Intercompany cross charges on monthly basis. This includes scrutiny of all IC cross charges analyzing the nature, applying WHT, taking treaty shelter etc
11) Reviewing and approving India - tax remittance form (Form 15CA) on as and need basis
12) Collating necessary information for APA, collaborating with necessary stakeholders for collating necessary information
