**What you will be doing**
As a Consultant, Workday Talent, you will be responsible for supporting the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of the Workday system, with a primary focus on integrated support for Workday Recruiting and related cross-application talent processes. You will provide functional support for business-as-usual (BAU) activities as well as key programs and projects across Workday domains, including Talent Acquisition and recruiting workflows. In this role, you will ensure the Workday roadmap is delivered thoughtfully and consultatively, applying your HR and program management expertise to oversee and analyze access to HR systems data. Additionally, you will independently resolve complex issues and support HR Shared Services on various projects and initiatives as required.

**How you’ll succeed**
+ **System Support & Enhancement -** Provide functional and technical support for Workday, primarily Recruiting, including troubleshooting Talent Acquisition operational issues and delivering solutions related to end-to-end system processes. Manage Workday Recruiting change requests, including requirements gathering, testing support, defect management, and implementation of updates. Oversee and maintain the Workday shared mailbox, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to inquiries and escalations.
+ **Project & Change Management -** Oversee small-scale projects related to Workday Recruiting, including the configuration, testing, and deployment of new features and process improvements. Minimize exposure to operational, legal, and reputational risks by executing change requests with discipline and adherence to testing and operational best practices related to system administration. Champion the user experience by assessing and planning for the impact of changes and to help drive adoption and proficiency of new Workday functionality.
+ **Partnership and relationship building -** Build and leverage strong relationships with internal and external partners to provide support and subject matter expertise. Manage questions, investigate issues and escalations, and support the resolution of complex problems while helping to build Workday knowledge and improve processes across CIBC.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration -** Participate in working teams for enterprise-wide HR initiatives, support annual cyclical activities such as talent reviews, mandatory testing and training, and year-end cycles. Participate in cross-application planning meetings to consider the impact of all changes and provide functional support for the delivery of key programs and projects across Workday domains.
**Who you are**
+ **You can demonstrate 3-5 years of experience** and knowledge of the HR function (systems, processes, and policy) in any of the following areas; business process support/continuous improvement, business/data analysis leveraging Excel/reports, change management, project management, testing, solution delivery, consulting/advisory roles with progressive levels of responsibility. Experience with Workday administration, particularly within the Recruiting module, is considered an asset.
