Title and Summary
You will plan, execute, and continuously improve payments delivery programmes while bringing a consultant’s problem-solving toolkit to diagnose issues, structure analyses, and generate actionable recommendations. Alongside client delivery, you’ll support business operations (staffing coordination, pipeline/KPI reporting, governance, financial hygiene), helping our team run smoothly and scale impact.

Advisors Program Management focuses on expert execution, enabling deployment, adoption, usage, and value realization across Mastercard solutions.
As a Consultant (L8), Program Management, you will:
Deliver programmes with consulting discipline
•\tSupport the planning and coordination of multi‑workstream programme delivery using recognized methodologies; maintain schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, and audit‑ready evidence.
•\tStructure problem statements, hypotheses, and KPI analyses to identify actionable insights
•\tPrepare decision‑ready materials and facilitate stakeholder routines (stand‑ups, working sessions, SteerCos) across Product, Technology/Processor, Operations, Compliance, Marketing, and vendor partners.
•\tIdentify risks, surface blockers early, and support mitigation planning with guidance from senior PMs or Squad Leads.
Operate the business engine
•\tStaffing & onboarding: Support team growth by leading the sourcing and deployment of resources, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely fulfilment and maintaining accurate role specs, screening notes, onboarding checklists
•\tKPI & pipeline reporting: Build monthly dashboards and trackers covering programme health (milestones, risks, spend vs. plan) and team KPIs; circulate status updates and actions.
•\tContracting & Financial hygiene: Support contracting processes, invoicing, and revenue tracking to ensure accurate reconciliation and alignment with commercial requirements.
•\tProcess improvement: Capture lessons learned and support updates to playbooks, templates, and best practices; champion adoption of collaboration tools and AI‑enabled efficiencies.
Team Collaboration & Culture
•\tTransform analysis into clear, concise narratives suitable for cross‑functional and senior audiences.
•\tLead or co‑lead internal and client meetings as appropriate; coordinate activities across workstreams; raise risks proactively.
•\tContribute to Mastercard knowledge assets (dashboards, templates, playbooks) and demonstrate strong alignment to the Data & Services and Program Management culture.
All About You
•\tExperience supporting or delivering projects/programmes in payments, financial services, or technology environments.
•\tStrong program management toolkit: RAID, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, risk/issue mitigation, vendor engagement, and post‑launch stabilization support.
•\tStructured problem solver with experience in data‑driven storytelling, KPI analysis, and communicating insights clearly.
•\tStrong multitasking and prioritization capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
•\tStrong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, coordinate across diverse groups, and drive alignment across internal teams and external partners.
•\tOperationally disciplined: exposure to contracting, invoicing, documentation control, and KPI reporting.
•\tStrong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word; familiarity with BI/collaboration tools and PM platforms; curiosity and comfort with AI‑enabled workflows.
•\tExperience supporting internal team operations (staffing trackers, dashboards, financial hygiene) to improve cadence and predictability.
