**What You’ll Be Doing**
As a Consultant, Production Application Support, you will join the Capital Markets Application Operations team to provide technical expertise on both application and infrastructure issues. You will lead the build and deployment of complex applications across multiple projects leveraging a wide range of technologies. You’ll rely on your operational expertise to facilitate, support and enhance service delivery and the continual improvement of operational process while adhering to CIBC’s technology standards.
You may be on call 24/7 on a rotational basis depending on the applications supported. You may also be required to work after hours, in the evenings and/or in weekends.

**How You’ll Succeed**
+ **Analysis and Support:** Evaluate service requests to ensure adherence to standards and processes. Coordinate and/or execute implementation plans. Paying key attention to adherence to standards for AO (application operations).
+ **Troubleshooting:** Identify and resolve small, medium, and critical complex production problems. Monitor and analyze supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions. Eliminate repeating issues by working with AD (application development/delivery) and our Infrastructure partners to find permanent solutions.
+ **Collaboration:** You’ll work with various technical teams to develop and manage the execution of implementation plans for high to critical complex new application and maintenance updates
+ **Automation** : You will assist in automating manual processes using various DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Github Actions, Artifactory, & Shell Scripting. You are constantly looking to eliminate manual processes through the use of tools or scripts.
**Who You Are:**
+ **You can demonstrate** **3 years work experience with** application support or development in both Linux and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have intermediate to expert knowledge of at least 3 of the following technologies: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, RedHat OpenShift, Azure cloud, MongoDB, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Axway Secure Transport.
