To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What you'll** **be doing** The Consultant, Data, Automation and BMTs is accountable for developing the means by which the AML Group tracks, records and monitors relevant metrics of the Enterprise AML/ATF Program. The role will support the building of appropriate tools to aggregate data and ensure the different AML functions can perform their business as usual activities effectively and efficiently. This involves creating required documentation surrounding these tools e.g. Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Solution Requirements Documents (SRDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), User Guides, Data mapping guides, dictionaries and the like. The role also works closely with peers in Risk, Insights and Optimization and leadership within the broader AML group to gather detailed specifications on new tool requests ad updates to existing tool built in house. This role will also work closely with our Technology and Operations partners to, on behalf our team, follow through and complete required steps and procedures in following the Enterprise Standards we are subject to as tenants on Technology managed infrastructure. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most_ _optimal_ _for you to thrive in your role._ _You'll_ _have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where_ _you’ll_ _spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._ **How** **you'll** **succeed** + **Work With Data** **To** **Understand Complex Relationships** - Conduct detailed analysis of data and provide understanding of data relationships. Solve problems with data structure using advanced ETL methodologies to provide data in a meaningful way to our business partners. Gather relevant information related to business processes, functions and operations to evaluate data credibility and quality. + **Stakeholder Engagement** – Assist and lead various business partners in formulating the business managed technology to help them achieve their strategic and operational goals. You can propose automation solutions and provide practical assistance to EAML senior management. + **Continuous Improvement** **–** As a key contributor to the business unit, the Consultant has authority to recommend changes to business processes in order to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. + **Cross-Functional Relationships** – The Consultant interacts regularly with AML Directors, Senior Leaders and CIBC Technology and Operations representatives, to identify and discuss AML Compliance needs and issues.Assist and lead various business partners in formulating the business managed technology to help them achieve their strategic and operational goals.  + **Compliance** **Responsibilities** **–** The Consultant interacts regularly with colleagues with AML Compliance to address issues and to ensure that AML’s systems continue to meet their needs.
