**Job Title: Construction Worker $22/hr**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves working on installations and maintenance of CO2 gas detection systems, ensuring high-quality service to our clients in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
**Responsibilities**
+ Follow all company safety and operational policies, procedures, and directives from the Supervisor.
+ Maintain telephone communication with the supervisor and/or dispatch to communicate timely ETAs and completion of work.
+ Perform installations of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling.
+ Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication.
+ Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is functioning correctly.
+ Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cable, and use a ladder where necessary for cabling.
+ Communicate and collaborate with other field service team members to resolve complex issues.
+ Provide high-quality service to all customers.
+ Verify current inventory levels versus install schedule and communicate deficiencies with the supervisor.
+ Maintain proper operation of all equipment, tools, ladders, etc.
+ Maintain sufficient inventory levels of all parts.
+ Provide daily communication to the assigned supervisor.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1 year of experience as a field service technician.
+ Installation experience with hand and power tools.
+ Ability to climb a 6ft ladder.
+ Mechanical, troubleshooting, assembly, repair, and maintenance skills.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience running network cabling, plumbing, and cable installation.
+ Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
+ Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
+ Effective communication skills to convey installation challenges verbally and by email to the supervisor.
+ Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
+ Basic Microsoft Office product computer skills.
+ Basic electronic knowledge.
+ Strong mechanical ability.

**Work Environment**
The contractor will work in various restaurant and bar locations, both indoors and outdoors. Use of a personal vehicle is required, with mileage reimbursement provided. This is a 3-4 month contract position, working Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm. The dress code includes jeans, a collared shirt, and steel-toed boots. A training period of 2-4 weeks is expected, after which the technician will work independently.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
