Job Title: Construction Technician (Spotter)Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Technician (Spotter) to join our team, assisting with spotting trucks and trailers as they come and go. This role requires focus and the ability to work outdoors throughout the day. Opportunities to engage in the building of construction modular units may arise, demanding a handy individual who can assist tradespeople and perform tasks effectively.

ResponsibilitiesSpot and guide trucks and trailers safely in and out of the site.Engage in various tasks using hand and power tools.Assist in the assembly, wiring, plumbing, and building of modular units.Work closely with tradespeople and independently to ensure project completion.Perform basic carpentry, framing, electrical wiring, and plumbing tasks.Essential SkillsExperience in construction, renovations, or related fields.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Basic carpentry, framing, electrical wiring, and plumbing skills.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on construction sites or outdoor environments.Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role primarily involves working in the yard and bays, which can be subject to varying weather conditions. Most tasks are performed independently, although collaboration with others is sometimes required. The position requires wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toed boots and long-sleeve shirts, during the day shift from 7 or 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
