As a Framing Carpenter, you will be working on commercial projects that involve tax credit apartment rebuilds and remodels located in downtown Springfield.
ResponsibilitiesPerform framing and carpentry work for commercial projects.Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.Hang drywall, execute metal framing, and perform blocking tasks.Conduct both rough and finish carpentry tasks.Ensure all work meets the quality standards and project specifications.Essential SkillsBasic hand tool experience (e.g., hammer, tape measure, utility knife, metal snips).Proficiency in carpentry, including hanging drywall and metal framing.Ability to lift and maneuver materials up to 40 lbs.Mechanical aptitude and skillful use of tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsAt least one year of experience in commercial construction.Experience with rough framing is preferred.A reliable work ethic and consistent attendance.Why Work Here?Join a family-owned company renowned for its stability and reliability, offering continuous work through the winter with no seasonal layoffs for dedicated employees.
