**Job Title: Construction Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking over ten skilled construction technicians to join our team immediately. The role requires proficiency in carpentry, concrete carpentry, skilled construction labor, framing, pipe laying, and other related skills. This is a travel-intensive position, with work located at various job sites throughout the Triad and South Carolina. All candidates must attend a safety orientation in South Carolina on their first day. **This is a 100% travel position.** **Responsibilities** + Perform skilled construction labor tasks such as carpentry, concrete carpentry, framing, and pipe laying. + Utilize hand and power tools effectively and safely. + Operate heavy equipment and excavators as needed. + Travel 100% of the time to various job sites. + Participate in mandatory safety orientation and adhere to all safety protocols. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in construction techniques such as carpentry, concrete work, framing, and pipe laying. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to operate heavy equipment and excavators. + Strong commercial and industrial experience in construction. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Finish carpentry skills. + Certification in heavy equipment operation (HEO). + Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams. **Work Environment** The work environment is dynamic and requires full-time travel to various job sites. Employees should be prepared to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position involves the use of various construction technologies, tools, and equipment. The dress code includes appropriate work wear, which is supported by an annual allowance provided by the company. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piedmont, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
