Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple ground-up new construction projects in the Ithaca and Binghamton area. These projects range from $20M to $120M, offering an exciting opportunity to lead significant construction initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 3-week schedules and look-ahead plans.Oversee subcontractors and maintain control of construction processes.Ensure solid communication with field staff and report to the Project Manager onsite.Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities.Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations.

Essential Skills

10 years of experience in commercial construction.Proven ground-up construction experience.Strong understanding of OSHA 30 requirements.Proficient in Procore or similar construction management software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with general contractor operations.Strong client management skills.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite in a trailer, providing a dynamic and hands-on work environment. The role offers the possibility of per diem depending on the individual's location.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ithaca, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
