Construction Superintendent
Job Title: Construction SuperintendentJob Description We are seeking an experienced Federal Construction Superintendent to oversee a high-profile project. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of construction management and be responsible for ensuring project success from start to finish. Responsibilities + Manage and oversee construction projects with a scope similar to $13 million. + Serve as a full-time, on-site representative with authority to direct subcontractors. + Ensure compliance with NAVFAC and USACE construction standards and safety regulations. + Coordinate and enforce safety and quality requirements in line with EM 385-1-1. + Coordinate multiple trades and manage project schedules effectively. + Communicate effectively with Government representatives, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. + Supervise daily operations, ensuring all project activities are documented accurately. Essential Skills + 10+ years of experience managing federal or military installation projects. + Proven knowledge of NAVFAC and USACE construction standards. + OSHA 30 certification. + Fluency in English with strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Demonstrated experience in quality control procedures. + Ability to coordinate inspections and maintain project schedules. Work Environment The position is based on-site at a federal or military installation. The work environment requires strict adherence to safety and quality standards, with the use of various construction management technologies. The superintendent will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient work site, coordinating with multiple trades, and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Awendaw, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
