We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial projects. This role is central to delivering high-quality builds, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that every project reflects our commitment to craftsmanship and integrity. The ideal candidate brings over 5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to keep a jobsite running smoothly from groundbreaking to closeout.

ResponsibilitiesOversee daily onsite construction activities to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans.Coordinate subcontractors and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards.Maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with specifications, building codes, and safety requirements.Collaborate with project managers on scheduling, procurement, and issue resolution.Lead onsite safety initiatives and enforce our safety culture.Communicate proactively with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.Manage project closeout activities.Essential Skills5+ years of superintendent or field leadership experience with a commercial general contractor.Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and best practices.Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents including plans, specifications, and submittals.Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and maintain productive working relationships.Solid knowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirements.Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.Ability to lead teams and maintain a positive, professional jobsite environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsConstruction managementCommercial constructionGeneral contractor experienceConstruction supervisionSubcontractor managementGround up constructionOSHA 30 certificationQuality controlTenant improvementWork Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
