We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee significant construction projects, including a large hospital build and a ground-up bank headquarters in Lebanon, Indiana. The role involves managing projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and safety, and effectively coordinating with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners. The projects primarily involve commercial and K-12 educational buildings, with additional work on water treatment facilities, REMC headquarters remodels, and more.
Responsibilities
+ Create and manage project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.
+ Oversee site safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
+ Create, maintain, and review all project documentation.
+ Ensure project oversight and quality control throughout the construction process.
+ Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners.
+ Manage project materials and resources efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
+ 10+ years as a superintendent on ground-up projects.
+ Experience as a lead superintendent on at least 5 projects.
+ Experience managing projects valued over $10 million.
+ Willingness to travel to Lebanon, IN for one year or longer.
+ Experience in client-facing roles with effective communication skills.
+ Proficient in creating construction schedules.
+ Experience with Procore software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Willingness to travel nationwide for up to 2 weeks at a time.
+ Healthcare construction project experience.
+ CHC (Certified Healthcare Constructor) certification.
+ Experience in K-12 construction projects.
+ Degree in Construction Management.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
+ Experience in water and wastewater projects.
+ Carpentry background.
Work Environment
This role is primarily on-site, requiring 40-50 hours per week, depending on the season and project demands. Busy seasons may require working five 10-hour days. The position offers flexibility to start immediately after hire, with an understanding of family needs and time. Benefits include weekly pay, phone reimbursement, vehicle reimbursement, and travel expense coverage for hotel and mileage. A laptop or tablet will be provided for work purposes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $165000.00/hr.
