Ensuring projects are completed in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner.
Ensuring our frontline engineers are working in line with company policies and procedures through audits.
Managing both SGN employees and contractors across all the range of operational activities, including the Construction, Repair, Connections & Competency processes.
Attending planning meetings, such as those with Highway Authorities, and coordination meetings.
Satisfying the needs of all customers and stakeholders.
Undertaking standby duties as necessary (with appropriate training provided)

What you will need
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the gas industry, with knowledge of health and safety procedures
Demonstrable team leadership, managerial, coaching, organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicators at all levels and being able to successfully engage with all stakeholders, customers, contractors and your own team.
Flexibility with a ‘can do’ enthusiastic approach and strive to outperform targets.
The candidate must have a flexible approach to work and hold a full and valid driving license.
