Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Project Manager to join our team in Brookfield, CT. You will be working with a leading construction company specializing in commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor projects. Responsibilities
Oversee all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion.Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks.Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.Lead project meetings and facilitate effective communication among all project team members.Maintain contact with the client throughout the construction process.Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, focusing on commercial, clean room, pharmaceutical, or semiconductor projects.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools such as MS Project, Procore, and Sage.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.Additional Skills & Qualifications
PMP or similar certification is a plus.Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is a plus.Experience with change orders, RFIs, submittals, take-offs.Experience working on healthcare projects and/or manufacturing, clean rooms, biopharma.Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7am to 4pm. Work sites are located in Connecticut (Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven counties) and one in Poughkeepsie, NY. Work will be split between the company's headquarters in Brookfield and various worksite locations. The environment emphasizes training and development, with room for growth as the company expands. Expect to work on exciting projects in healthcare and manufacturing spaces for leading companies.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
