Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of construction projects from initiation through close-out. This is a fully in-office role based in Boston, MA, with regular travel to project sites across the Northeast US and occasional travel to Canada.

The Project Manager acts as the primary financial, contractual, and operational lead, responsible for accurate forecasting, detailed planning, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Work location and travel requirement

Primary work location: Milford, MA office (in-office role)Travel expectations: approximately 25–50%Regular travel to project sites across the Northeast USOccasional international travel to Canada

Key responsibilities and expectations

Financial and contractual leadershipProduce and manage the Schedule of Values (SOV)Manage monthly invoicingExecute cost control and financial forecastingManage Purchase Orders, RFQs, and invoice approvalsControl Change Requests and Change Orders documentationReview proposals, drawings, and budgets
 Project planning and executionDevelop and manage erection and delivery schedulesProduce engineer-stamped erection proceduresLead internal and external kick-off meetingsMonitor BIM drafting and fabrication schedulesCoordinate with field teams and subcontractors
 Project close-out and continuous improvementCoordinate project close-out and sign-offsProduce complete close-out documentationLead lessons learned and post-mortem reviews

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Project ManagementMinimum 3+ years of progressive experience in construction project managementStrong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and schedulingAbility and willingness to travel as requiredStrong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
