Job Title: Construction Project EngineerJob Description

We are seeking two dedicated Construction Project Engineers to join a significant project focusing on the research and development of molecular therapies. You will be part of a team working on a small molecule building within a larger complex, contributing to the transformation of molecules into tools for combating diseases. The project has a substantial scope, now totaling $490 million, with completion targeted by 2027.

ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose solutions to mitigate delays.Maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records.Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.Assist in change order management, cost control, and financial tracking.Participate in site inspections and provide updates on construction activities.Support the Senior Project Manager in project closeout activities, including final inspections and documentation.Essential Skills2-4 years of experience in construction project management, assistant project management, Project Engineer, or a similar role.Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical or Piping Knowledge.P&ID Drawings, CAD experience, estimation.1 year of Co-op is preferred over internship.1 year of on-site job experience is ideal.Work Environment

This role currently operates on a schedule of 5 days, 10 hours per day, with a quick transition to 6 days per week, offering up to 58-60 hours weekly. The work environment provides guaranteed overtime and the opportunity to work on one of Indiana's most prestigious and largest projects. There is potential for contract-to-hire after a 12-month term for the right candidates.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
