Construction Materials Technician
Job Title: Construction Materials TechnicianJob Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Materials Technician to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of hands-on experience performing field testing of concrete and soils, with a strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety. This role is fully field-based and requires reliability, independence, and technical proficiency.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform on-site testing of concrete, soils, and aggregates in accordance with industry standardsBreak concrete cylinders and conduct Proctor tests to ensure accurate and reliable resultsTravel to local project sites with required tools and equipment to collect samplesAccurately document and report test resultsFollow all safety procedures and maintain compliance with applicable regulations and specificationsRequired Qualifications & SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing and/or geotechnical field workStrong knowledge of concrete inspection, soil testing, and nuclear density gauge operationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a field environmentPreferred CertificationsACI Level I Field Technician CertificationThird-party certifications such as ICC, NICET, or TXAPAAdditional RequirementsValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to pass background screening and drug testingWork Environment & Schedule100% field-based positionTypical work hours range from 40 to 70 hours per weekMust be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, rain, and coldAvailability for early morning shifts, including 1:00–2:00 AM concrete pours, as requiredJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
