Construction Materials Technician
**Aerotek's' client is looking for Construction Materials Technician to join their team in the Baltimore, MD area** Join a dynamic team as a Field Technician responsible for sampling and testing soil and concrete samples on construction projects throughout the DMV area. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of materials used in construction projects. **Responsibilities** + Conduct sampling and testing of soil and concrete samples on various construction sites. + Log daily records and report findings to your supervisor accurately. + Ensure all samples are placed in their correct locations in the lab. + Maintain high standards of detail and precision in all testing processes. + Work under minimal supervision to complete testing projects efficiently. **Essential Skills** + WACEL certification. + ACI certification. + Knowledge of soil sampling and aggregate testing. + Proficiency in concrete testing. + 1-2 years of field technician experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. + High attention to detail to avoid misplacement of samples. + Capability to work independently with minimal supervision. **Work Environment** + The role involves repeated lifting and carrying of equipment throughout the day, with projects located around Maryland, including PG County, Montgomery County, Baltimore City, and Baltimore County. + The aim is to achieve close to 40 hours of work per week, with lab work concluding once the project is completed.
