Overview:
Terracon is offering exciting opportunities for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in consulting engineering. This position will conduct field and laboratory testing of concrete, soil, asphalt, and aggregates.

The internship program runs from May – August 2026Opportunity to work throughout the school year as well
Majors Considered:
Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related fields

What You’ll Do:Work alongside experienced engineers and technicians in the field and labParticipate in real-world projects and client interactionsLearn technical skills including sampling, testing, data analysis, and report writing
Key Learning Areas:Field and lab safety practicesASTM, DOT, COE testing proceduresProposal and report developmentProject management fundamentalsQuality management systemsClient communication and consulting best practices
Qualifications:Currently pursuing a BS in a relevant engineering or science disciplineStrong interest in consulting and fieldworkEagerness to learn and collaborate

The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
$18.50 - $26.00 per hour
