Construction Material Technician
Description A Construction Materials Technician plays a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and performance of materials used on construction projects. This position blends fieldwork, lab testing, and communication with project stakeholders to help keep projects compliant, safe, and on track. Skills Aci, Concrete, Asphalt, Concrete testing, Materials testing, Concrete inspection, Nicet, Quality assurance, Soil testing, Troxler, Construction materials testing, Inspection, Nuclear gauge, Nuclear density gauge, Soil sampling, Construction, Quality control, Construction inspection, report writing, geology, engineering, qc Additional Skills & Qualifications + Conduct compaction tests to ensure soil stability and support for construction projects. + Perform concrete testing, including pulling cylinders, conducting concrete slump tests, and breaking cylinders. + Carry out materials testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. + Conduct asphalt testing and inspections to maintain quality assurance and control. + Utilize nuclear gauge equipment for accurate soil testing and density measurements. + Ensure all testing is conducted following industry standards and regulatory requirements. + Provide detailed and accurate documentation of test results and findings. Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
