Job Description:

Parsons is anticipating the need for an exceptionally talented Construction Manager to join our team in Dublin. In this role, you will lead the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery and commissioning of major infrastructure projects from inception through completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing construction leadership and input across the full project lifecycle, from planning through execution and completion.

Lead and promote a strong safety culture through proactive safety engagement, timely issue resolution, and strict adherence to contractual, safety, and quality requirements.

Ensuring all project elements are delivered on schedule and in full compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Working closely with construction planners to drive collaboration, productivity, and the development of detailed schedules and key milestones.

Monitoring construction progress, proactively identifying potential delays, and implementing recovery plans as required.

Collaborating cross-functionally to optimize resource allocation and maintain strict adherence to project timelines.

Overseeing quality assurance activities, including inspection of completed works, readiness assessments, and management of remedial actions.

Managing and evaluating site progress through regular site visits and inspections, comparing work against contract documentation, approved programs, and milestones.

Preparing and delivering accurate progress updates and reports to the project team and designated reporting lines.

Monitoring and assessing contractor personnel competence before and throughout all phases of construction activities.

Serving as the primary point of contact for contractors, maintaining clear and consistent communication on progress, risks, and issue resolution.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.

Minimum 10+ years’ experience in construction, engineering, and management of large-scale, multidisciplinary railway projects.

Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects on schedule and to specification.

Experience in stakeholder management on major projects and programs.

Experience promoting and ensuring exemplary health and safety standards on large-scale construction projects.

Familiarity with NEC4 contracts and strong commercial awareness.

Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Effective leadership, team guidance, and communication skills.

Note:  This position is contingent upon project award and future funding, this exciting new opportunity planned to commence in Spring 2026.
