Join a long-term project constructing a large Data Center in Lenoir, NC. This project will span over 2+ years and involves comprehensive construction tasks managed by a top construction company.
ResponsibilitiesPerform tasks involving physical labor at construction project jobsites.Review jobsite needs with team members and Superintendents to fully comprehend scopes of work as per plans and specifications.Assist with jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, fencing, deck and platform building, protection systems, and construction waste areas.Inventory supplies and communicate with team members for re-stocking.Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and jobsite standards.Understand work instructions, project signage, and safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers.Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and follow safety expectations for equipment operation.Perform selected demolition and participate in subcontractor and supplier activities.Review project perimeter for security and cleanliness and participate in end of day clean-up activities.Perform fire watch duties and construct scaffolding as needed.Manage dumpster vendor schedule and maintain dumpster areas for cleanliness.Act as a spotter for heavy equipment operators.Ensure security of equipment and work area.Identify, communicate, and escalate issues to supervisors for immediate resolution.Track production of completed tasks and assist other craft workers as directed.Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees.Essential Skills6+ months of construction experience.Proficiency in reading a tape measurer.Experience with hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in carpentry and concrete work.Ability to perform physical labor and tasks as directed.Capability to work as part of a team.Why Work Here?Benefit from a long-term project with one of the top construction companies in the area.
