**Job Title: Construction Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated construction laborers for current openings on the 2nd shift. The primary responsibility is to assemble cut materials into floor and roof trusses according to specifications. Additional duties include pulling plates, stacking finished products, banding and marking materials, and moving products on carts to designated areas. **Responsibilities** + Assemble cut materials into floor and roof trusses as per specifications. + Pull plates and set up presses, nail guns, and other equipment. + Place cut material and plates accurately and connect them using a hammer and/or press. + Lift and stack products off lumber carts, band and mark products, and push/pull products to designated areas. + Conduct continuous quality reviews to ensure products meet quality and accuracy requirements, including dimensions and lumber grades. + Read and interpret work orders and production schedules from various formats such as typed, handwritten, or on a computer screen. + Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and gloves. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Crescent, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $19.75/hr.
