We are seeking experienced and motivated Construction Laborers to join our team in Blooming Glen, PA. This role involves working on various construction projects, often shifting from one task to another as needed.

ResponsibilitiesPerform all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies.Acquire necessary tools for daily operations.Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight lines.Bolt, nail, align, and block up under forms.Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications.Level earth to fine grade specifications.Mix and finish freshly poured cement or concrete.Position, join, align, and seal pipe sections.Erect scaffolding, shoring, and braces.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experienceProficiency with hand and power toolsExperience with concrete workAbility to use tape measuresStrong verbal and written communication skillsMathematical skills including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsAbility to understand and carry out detailed instructionsProblem-solving skillsAbility to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as neededAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in heavy civil construction or road constructionAdditional relevant safety certificationsOne month of related experience and/or trainingWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This position involves regular exposure to outside weather conditions and frequently involves working near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally, you may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is typical for construction sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
