**Job Title: CMT Technician / Inspector** **Job Description** We are seeking a Junior Level Technician to join our team in the Baton Rouge area. The successful candidate will embark on a learning journey to monitor piles, log piles, monitor vibrations, classify soils, and collect materials for testing. This role involves shadowing technicians and engineers to gain a comprehensive understanding of our company and the construction materials testing (CMT) industry. **Responsibilities** + Monitor and log piles effectively. + Observe and report on vibrations during construction activities. + Classify soils accurately and collect samples for testing. + Assist in documentation processes related to construction materials. + Engage in field studies and office engineering work to support project requirements. **Essential Skills** + Experience in concrete monitoring and inspection. + Familiarity with documentation processes. + Dependability and a positive attitude. + Ability to work collaboratively with a small team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + At least 6 months of construction background experience. + Possession of a truck is a plus. + Clean DMV record. **Why Work Here?** Join a close-knit team where collaboration and teamwork are at the core of our success.
