Construction Laborer
**Job Title: Construction Laborer** Job Description Join our team as a Construction Laborer, where you will be actively involved in general labor tasks, setting up and pouring concrete, and cleaning forms. Your role will also include assisting with basic carpentry and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position will be in various locations, dependent upon project location. Experience in construction is required. You should be capable of lifting around 50 pounds and comfortable with standing and moving throughout the day. Some travel may be required, but you will always be home on weekends. Responsibilities + Perform general labor tasks related to concrete setup and pouring. + Clean and maintain forms and equipment after use. + Assist with basic carpentry tasks as needed. + Ensure the work area is clean and organized. + Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality concrete products. Essential Skills + Experience in construction. + Ability to lift around 50 pounds. + Comfortable with standing and moving throughout the day. Work Environment You will be working at various commercial, agricultural, and industrial sites across Eastern Idaho. Projects will extend as far west as Twin Falls and as far east as Western Montana. A $25 per diem is paid for overnight jobs, and hotel accommodations will be provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am until the job is done, usually between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Some projects require meeting deadlines, which may involve working up to 60 hours a week. The dress code includes general work clothes such as jeans, t-shirts, high-visibility shirts or vests, hard hats, safety shoes, and safety glasses. Employees should have a tool belt with basic tools like a hammer and tape measure; larger tools will be provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Idaho Falls, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
