**Construction Laborer** **Pay: $18-20/hr depending on experience** **Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7AM to 5PM, potential for OT** **Job Description** Laborers will be assigned to work on either the new construction or repair crew, engaging in tasks that ensure the structural integrity and waterproofing of foundations and footings. New construction tasks include applying waterproof coatings to prevent erosion and leaks, and installing drainage systems to protect against water intrusion. Repair crew duties involve identifying and fixing leaks at finished commercial or residential sites, which includes digging to expose problem areas and removing broken concrete. The work is physically demanding, requiring the installation of window wells, wall anchors, and piers. **Responsibilities** + Perform waterproofing on standing foundations and footings to prevent erosion and leaks. + Install drainage systems to keep water away from footings. + Identify and repair leaks in finished construction sites by digging and removing broken concrete. + Install window wells, wall anchors, and piers. + Work labor-intensive tasks with the potential to be assigned to either the new construction or repair crew as needed. **Essential Skills** + General labor + Construction experience + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools + Concrete handling + Cleaning and demolition tasks + Must possess a valid driver's license + 6+ months of physical labor experience in construction + Ability to consistently lift and carry 50-75 lbs **Work Environment** **Work takes place in indoor and outdoor construction environments, facing hot conditions in summer and cold in winter. The role involves working in muddy, dirty, and concrete-laden areas.** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
