Job Description
The Construction Laborer will support a growing residential homebuilding team. This role involves assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring job sites are prepared, and supporting skilled tradespeople in building high-quality homes.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up materials.Load, unload, and transport construction materials to designated areas.Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete work.Perform digging, leveling, and grading for foundations and landscaping.Install and maintain temporary structures, such as scaffolding and safety barriers.Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, hazard-free work environment.Assist in final site cleanup and preparation for inspections.Essential Skills6 months to 1 year of experience in commercial, residential, or roofing as a laborer or carpenter's helper.Basic carpentry hand tools knowledge.Reliable transportation.Knowledge of job site safety.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in construction or manual labor in landscaping, roofing, industrial manufacturing, or maintenance.Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques.Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.OSHA 10 certification is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor job sites, with exposure to varying weather conditions. Tasks are physically demanding, requiring standing, bending, and lifting. The team setting offers opportunities for skill development. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and available overtime. Job sites are new homes, and work is performed in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
