Construction InspectorHours: Mon–Thurs | 6:00 AM–4:00 PM (Optional OT Fri)

Job Overview

Hands-on role inspecting modular residential/multi family construction. Ideal for a Journeyman-level Carpenter (5+ yrs) with strong knowledge of framing, codes, and new-build processes.

Responsibilities

•\tInspect modules using checklists; document results.

•\tEnsure builds meet specs, drawings, and code.

•\tProvide QC feedback in pre-/post build reviews.

•\tSupport root-cause investigations & corrective actions.

•\tAssist with technical documentation & data tracking.

•\tCommunicate issues + preventative actions to production.

•\tHandle defective material sorting & related reports.

•\tParticipate in continuous improvement (5S, audits, updates).

Ideal Candidate Has: 

•\t5+ yrs residential or multi-family wood framing experience

•\tAble to read codes, plans, and specs

•\tCompetent with tape/laser measurements & framing tools

•\tComfortable on feet all day; ladder use required

•\tStrong teamwork + communication skills

•\tCrew lead/foreman experience, ability to read wall layouts.

•\tBrand-new 180,000 sq ft indoor facility (AC/Heat)

•\t4×10 schedule, stable year-round work

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
