**Job Title: Construction General Laborer** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and skilled Construction General Laborer who can interpret construction plans and ensure project specifications are met. The ideal candidate will maintain equipment, prepare sites, and collaborate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality construction projects. **Responsibilities** + Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure cuts match project specifications. + Implement and follow strict safety protocols to manage dust, debris, and prevent accidents from powerful equipment. + Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections on cutting tools and machinery to ensure they are in good working order. + Prepare work areas by measuring and marking lines, and sometimes clearing and leveling surfaces before cutting. + Work closely with other construction professionals, project managers, and team members to coordinate tasks, meet project timelines, and ensure quality standards are met. + Inspect job sites to identify potential hazards and determine the most effective and safest cutting methods. **Essential Skills** + Production + Hand tool proficiency + General labor + Construction experience + Concrete handling + Carpentry skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Must be punctual every day + Strong work ethic **Work Environment** This role involves working outside under potentially dirty conditions.
