Construction Foreman
**Job Title: Construction Crew Leader** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Construction Crew Leader to organize and lead a team in a safe and productive manner. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and guide a crew towards achieving production goals. **Responsibilities** + Organize and lead a crew in a safe and productive manner. + Track production and complete paperwork daily. + Maintain a clean and tidy job site. + Lead by example and provide training to the crew. + Communicate production goals to the crew and hold them accountable. + Work closely with the Site Superintendent. + Adhere to company policies and procedures. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of experience managing heavy equipment operating crew. + Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment at the highest level (Dozer, Track Hoe, Grader). + GPS (Trimble/TopCon) working experience. + Demonstrated leadership abilities and great interpersonal skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Knowledge in operating excavators, dozers, backhoes, skid steers, loaders, and track hoes. **Why Work Here?** Our company provides a supportive team environment with a focus on safety and career growth. The environment emphasizes safety and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. Employees should be comfortable with both cold and extreme heat. You will provide your own personal protective equipment, including boots, vest, hard hat, and gloves. Regular work hours are 50 hours per week, weather permitting, with great overtime opportunities. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charleston, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
