Job Title: Field TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will visit commercial customer sites to install CO2 monitors, a task driven by new regulatory requirements. This position involves light, low voltage work akin to installing fire alarms, using CAT 5 cabling. You will not be working in residential areas but primarily in commercial settings such as restaurants and gas stations.

ResponsibilitiesInstall CO2 monitors at various commercial sites using CAT 5 cabling.Communicate politely and effectively with current customers to explain the purpose of your visit.Use a smartphone for GPS navigation, taking pictures of installations, and documenting mileage for reimbursement.Document all site visits and installations accurately.Drive around town to various customer locations, covering approximately 400 miles weekly.Essential Skills2 years of experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work.Proficiency in using a smartphone for GPS and documentation purposes.Ability to work independently with minimal field management.Capability to interface with customers professionally.Reliable transportation and the possession of necessary tools and a ladder.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in low voltage or light electrical work is beneficial.Driving experience related to work is advantageous.Honesty and independence are crucial personality traits.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work independently across various customer sites, starting your day at the shop before heading out. The position requires working from 7 am to 3 pm, with potential early starts at 6:30 am. The role is largely unsupervised, requiring self-motivation and the ability to document your activities comprehensively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
