Join a leading real estate development firm, family-owned and operated since 1988, with a national portfolio of commercial and mixed-use projects. We are seeking a driven Construction Administrator in Williamsville, NY, who has the potential to grow into a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities
+ Administer and manage monthly pay applications, including reviewing, compiling, and submitting applications for payment for key clients.
+ Prepare, track, and reconcile construction contract documents, Change Orders, RFIs, and submittals.
+ Maintain accurate project documentation and filing systems, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
+ Collaborate with internal project teams, field staff, general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure information flow, status updates, and deliverable accountability.
+ Support reporting functions, including project progress reports, cost tracking, schedule updates, and key performance dashboards.
+ Assist in invoice review, vendor coordination, insurance and bonding documentation, and contract compliance tasks.
+ Support construction and development teams with additional administrative tasks as needed, including schedule coordination and internal systems management.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, or a related field.
+ 3–7+ years of experience in construction administration, project administration, contract administration, or related fields within commercial construction or real estate development.
+ Strong understanding of construction contracts, submittal processes, pay applications, and reporting compliance.
+ Excellent written skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
+ Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Sage, Aconex, Buildertrend) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to interpret construction documents, scopes of work, and project schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in construction management and administration roles such as Assistant Project Manager, Construction Document Management, RFI Processing, and Change Order Management.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsville, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
